Secure your parking for the Metallica concert in Cardiff on Sunday, 28th June 2026.

Our event car park is located at Llandaff Rugby Club, offering a convenient and scenic route to the stadium. Enjoy a pleasant 30-minute walk through the beautiful Pontcanna Fields to get to the Principality Stadium, soaking up the pre-concert atmosphere along the way. The car park opens at 11:00 AM and closes 90 minutes after the show finishes.

A key benefit of this location is that toilets are available for use at the rugby club. Spaces are strictly limited and will sell out. We advise booking as soon as possible to guarantee your space. All bookings are non-refundable.

Crucial Directions: Please Read to Avoid Delays

It is vital to follow these specific directions. Due to the location, sat navs often misdirect drivers or fail to account for the lack of a right turn from the A48. Our instructions provide the correct, hassle-free route to the car park entrance.

How to Approach the Car Park

  • Head towards Cardiff on the A48 (Western Avenue), passing past Cardiff Metropolitan University (on your right).
  • Take the left filter lane to turn onto Mill Lane (this is just after the large WJEC building).
  • On Mill Lane, get into the right-hand lane.
  • At the traffic lights, turn right.
  • At the next set of lights, turn right again, bringing you back onto the A48 (Western Avenue).
  • Move into the left-hand lane. You will pass the rugby pitches on your left.
  • The entrance to the car park is the next left turn.
