Secure your car parking space for The Cure concert at Blackweir Fields, Cardiff, on Wednesday, 24 June 2026. Our car park is located at the Bute Building (CF10 3WT), a straightforward 5-minute walk through the park to the concert entrance.
The car park will be open from 1:00 PM onwards. Spaces are limited and all bookings are non-refundable, so we recommend booking in advance. There will be no toilets available for use at this site.
Directions – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
Please follow these directions to the car park and do not rely only on the postcode or sat nav. On major event days, traffic management and road closures can change unexpectedly.
- Leave M4 at junction 29 (signposted Cardiff (E&S) / A48(M)).
- Follow A48 for 7.5 miles (BE AWARE: there is a speed camera where the speed reduces to 40mph), leaving at the 5th exit signposted Cardiff City Centre, Cardiff University.
- Move into the left-hand lane on the slip road and take the 2nd exit off the roundabout (signposted City Centre).
- Be aware there is a speed camera very soon on this road.
- Go through two proper sets of traffic lights. At the third set, continue straight across the traffic lights onto Park Place (approximately 2 miles from the A48).
- Turn right onto Gorsedd Gardens.
- Turn right onto Museum Avenue.
- Turn left onto City Hall Road.
- Turn right onto King Edward VII Avenue.
- The Bute car park is around three quarters of the way up King Edward VII Avenue. Look for one of our stewards wearing yellow high-vis.
